WOD: “Randy” (Benchmark) and Run, Rest Intervals

The Power Snatch is an Olympic weightlifting movement and one of the hallmarks of a high-intensity work-out. It is a core to extremity exercise, lifting the bar from ground to overhead in one fluid lift. There are several parts, and should be broken down during practice and warm-up. Here is a demonstration from Coach Burgener. THEN, once you’ve done 75 perfect Power Snatches, take a break and do some speedwork.
I was really happy with this result, but wish it was faster. Had to stop due to blisters in the middle of my pinkies! That’s a new one. Beautiful night out at the park.
