I would really rather spend my work-outs on a grueling 20-minute chipper, instead of just working on strength. However, it’s so important to find your 1-rep-max weight. Strength accumulation and muscle memory of good form will make a lasting imprint, and help out in those low-weight, high rep WODs. So, put away the timer! And plan for a run later if that makes you feel better.
