WOD: “Loredo” (Hero)

This WOD honors one of the many heroes fighting in our armed forces. These work-outs are more demanding than most, and allow us to pay homage to this fallen soldier.
“U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Edwardo Loredo, 34, of Houston, Texas, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was killed on June 24, 2010 in Jelewar, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his wife, First Sergeant Jennifer Loredo; his daughter, Laura Isabelle; his stepdaughter, Alexis; and his son, Eduardo Enrique” (CrossFit Mainsite).
A bit disappointed in my body today. A pre existing issue cropped up during the workout (migraine) that made me stop. I know I could’ve finished otherwise. The workout was great… It is amazing how these simple things seem so challenging!
We decided to take a break until next week to give me time to get over the migraine.
