WOD: EMOM Row, Burpees-Over-Bar, Thruster

We often use the EMOM (every minute on the minute) format so that everyone can use the rower without running into each other. This was a tough combo where, I can’t believe I thought this, burpees were a bit of a rest! Jumping over the bar slows them down just enough to feel great. I set up a pvc pipe on two bricks so we didn’t have to use a bar. We did substitute for the lift; I went for a heavier front squat and HB used the bench press. The intent is for this to be a high rep wod, so I would have needed to use 45# on thrusters. 50# would have been very slow. At 55# front squats were definitely hard but I maintained about the same reps every round. Think about scaling in order to get the best results in form, range of motion, and intensity.
